Our Divisions
All campers at Camp Ohr Menachem are divided into age appropriate groups, and we ensure individualized attention and supervision. This is done to ascertain that children are placed in the program appropriate to their level of development where they encounter new adventures, excitement, and challenges, all built on the COM hallmarks of safety, fun, and unconditional love.
Junior Division
(entering grades 1 & 2).
Children in the JUNIOR DIVISION are provided a great mix of athletic, artistic and spirited pursuits in a structured setting. They develop strong bonds with their peers and counselors while experiencing what summer is all about. Our wide array of programming options has children motivated, excited and on-their-toes. Summer highlights include weekly trips: Granby Zoo, Pays des Merveilles , Funtropolis and many more.
Adventure Division
(entering grades 3 & 4)
Special programming include all the activities of the Day Camp plus additional outings: Extra after-camp late nights, activities such as Laser- Tag, LaRonde, BBQs, Overnight and much more!
Pioneer Division
(entering grades 5, 6 & 7)
Pioneer Divison takes the fun of Ohr Menachem camping to a new level. This division is designed especially for children who need more involved and advanced programs. Campers in this age group will have activities and programs that will bolster their self-esteem. Field trips include Paintball Shooting, Ropes Course, White Water Rafting Overnight and more.
Teen Camp Boys
(entering grades 8 & 9)
As children grow, so does their ability for self-discovery, adventure, bonding with peers, and appreciating group dynamics. Under the leadership of a team of senior staff members, Teen Camp combine camping experience, athletics, swimming and outdoor adventures with authentic Jewish Spirit to impart timeless values and appreciation of others. Highlights include a trip to Six-flag Amusement Park, Grand NYC trip and more!
CIT Boys
(entering grade 10)
After spending many summers in COM our CIT grade 10 program is unique in its kind. Campers will have an opportunity to give back and help the younger campers. while at the same time receive hands on training and life skills workshops. The CIT's will sped most of the day assisting the younger campers and part of the day enjoying their own fun with NYC trip, six flags and more.
